    McGregor is the first non-american fighter to have hold two world title in two different weight classes. Before joining UFC, he won Cage Warriors featherweight and lightweight titles in back to back fights.

    7. McGregor is all for gay rights

    McGregor has been an open supporter of the ‘same-sex marriage’ movement in Ireland for a number of years. He is on record saying that he and his team are supporters of same-sex marriage and that everyone deserves equal rights.

    8. UFC 194 wasn’t McGregor’s fastest KO

    When McGregor knocked out Aldo in 13 seconds to claim the UFC featherweight title, you would have thought that would be his quickest Knockout. Wrong, McGregor once recorded a four-second knockout. He accomplished that feat in April 2011 when he KO’d Paddy Doherty. You can watch this below:

    Growing up, Conor McGregor supported Manchester United. His father recalls young Conor always wearing his Manchester United kit. Nowadays, he admits he doesn’t really care much for football or Manchester United.

    10. He used to be a Boxer

    During his youth, Conor McGregor boxed and went on to win youth championship, before giving up boxing to focus on MMA.
